How does commitment look like for an open poly relationship? Trying to wrap my head around that because I do like the idea of that but not sure how it would look like if someone has multiple partners and nobody is primary...

I'm not saying it's bad but when it's pushed on you it's not right and yes he just wants to have sex and don't understand how it's makes me feel more when he's sleeping with your friends or talking to them . I don't understand why this happening to me and he doesn't care . I hate myself for feeling stuck 💔

This was so amazing & funny, as I reflected on the things I used to do, when I unconsciously thought ownership of my husband was not only ok, but that I was entitled. I, too, have compassion for the part of me who had insecure & anxious attachment & an abandonment wound. Now, I wouldn’t say that I’m joyously embodying compersion, but I embrace compersion & don’t feel jealous about my twin flame being with someone else, rn. Even if he & I were back together, I don’t think I’d spend a lot of time, or energy, explaining to him if I was feeling jealousy, bcus it’s an aspect of being human that we’ve already talked about & I know that whatever we give energy to multiplies. The way I think I’d handle jealousy now is, moreso, saying I’m working thru some egoic stuff, but that he hasn’t done anything wrong. I strongly believe in owning my own stuff, no victim, no villain, no blame, no shame. So, for me the answer is more self love, more working on being my best version, cus worse case scenario, I’d let him know I wanted more attention. I say worse case, bcus I love a relationship that doesn’t compromise, or limit my person, by having boundaries that would “force” him into doing things that he wouldn’t organically do. This is why the poly life is so important to me, for my poly partner, bcus if I’m working thru egoic feelings, I won’t betray myself either & be intimate with him, when I’m not feeling that way. I could relate to you Brittany, when you talked about the ecstatic dance experience, with Conor being intimate with someone else, causing you to not want to be intimate with him, i.e. NO!!! Go be intimate with who you were just being intimate with😩lol I’m not gonna be the surrogate sperm bank. Anyways, yes, thank God for growth. I move thru my egoic feelings, relatively, quick now & aspire to get to the place both of you are at, which sounds like compersion. Thanks so much for sharing!

This is hard when you are in long distance because you already have all the time in the world to yourself. N the jealousy that comes up feels more about not being able to receive love n comfort from your partner, while they are perhaps able to get it somewhere else, if they are connecting with others.

I think I started watching your videos in 2018, prepping to go back into a poly relationship, from our monogamous relationship that started off poly, until my husband said the 4 of us were going to F him to death😩lol. Anyhoo, I feel your growth & identified so much with the pain that just is, even when talking about this dynamic of needing to be the 1. Safety’s majorly important to me, but freedom, resonance & alignment, FLOW, has proven to be most important, which is how I ended up in 3 marriages, but I’ve never had my feelings & values about relationships, be so concisely expressed, as you did in this video. It’s interesting how the other person has always shown up in the 10th yr of our committed relationship, at the time when my husband has checked out emotionally or just left & tried to come back. Right now, I’m single for the 1st time in my life, bcus I’m in twin flame separation. My twin flame was my other self, who showed up, with the deepest soul love & alignment I’ve ever felt, only to mirror my inner child wounding & then RUN! It’s crazy bcus had my twin flame not shown up (my soul in another incarnation), I would have continued to source love from my partner vs the deep well of love that we’re inherently born with. Now, as twin flames deeply in love with each other, yet in twin flame separation, our job is to be so deeply in love with ourselves that we choose ourselves, over agreeing to dynamics to hold onto our person. It’s an interesting journey, sometimes sad, but I’m working thru the attachment, to ultimately live in non attachment with deep intimacy, soul alignment & freedom. Thanks for sharing.😘

I am finally watching this a year later! I can't believe it. It never showed up on my RUclips, and it's strange because I honestly used to watch every single video you put out. IMO, this is the problem with polyamory. How can you feel safe, valued, and treasured when your partner wont fight for what you've built. Lust is easily found, but it's like fool's gold. It's not as precious as the real thing.
